Donald Dee Jackson

Mr. Donald Dee Jackson, age 84, of the Morgan City community in Morgan County, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, September 21, 2025 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice. Born on May 15, 1941, in Marshall County, Alabama, Donald was the cherished son of Elmer Jackson and Mary Jackson. He proudly served his country as an honorably discharged Army Veteran, served as Past Master of Union Grove Masonic Lodge #320 F.&AM and a member of Highland Baptist Church. Professionally, Donald worked as an Insurance Claims Investigator for Equifax, earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike. He shared over 55 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lottie Fann Clark Jackson, building a life grounded in love, partnership, and family. Donald’s passions were many. He was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in fishing and hunting. He was a devoted Alabama football fan and a history enthusiast, especially fascinated by the Civil War era. Known for his good sense of humor, Donald brought laughter and warmth to those around him. Donald Dee is survived by his loving wife, Lottie Jackson, daughter, Connie Jackson Goode (Bobby); nephew, Richard Pence (Janine); niece, Debbi Pence Owen (Jim); great-nieces, Kristen Pence Evans and Whitney Pence; great-nephews, Tyler Pence, Daniel Owen, and Jay Owen; and several great-great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mary Jackson; sister, Joyce Elaine Jackson Pence; and brother-in-law, Jack Donald Pence. Services for Donald Dee will be at Brindlee Mountain Chapel on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. The family will greet friends and guests beginning at 12:00 noon until the funeral service begins at 2:00pm. Brother Fred Childs will officiate. Escorting Donald Dee to his final resting place in Mt. Olive Cemetery will be Steven Crawford, Patrick Crawford, Matthew Crawford, Clay Crawford, John Crawford, and Michael Williams. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
